The 5k Chicken Run

The 5k Chicken Run takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Oviedo, Florida at Oviedo Mall, 1700 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo, FL 32765. The event includes an in-person 5k Run/Walk and a virtual 5k option.

Registration and fees

The in-person 5k has an entry fee of $20; the virtual 5k fee is $25. The virtual registration closes April 3, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT. The in-person 5k price increases after January 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST.

Race logistics and prizes

Packet pick-up is available only on race day at the race site. All participants are chip timed and receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+. Parking is located at Oviedo Mall. Dogs are allowed on site but must be on a leash.
