The Chase Haley Project 2 Mile Run and Walk
The Chase Haley Project 2 Mile Run and Walk is a community event organized to support suicide prevention efforts and reduce stigma in Fairfield County. The event uses the Lancaster High School cross country course and lists the venue address as 1570 Granville Pike, Lancaster, OH 43130. Participants may run or walk the 2 mile course.
Registration options include individual and team entries. Individual registration fees are $35 per person if completed by June 1 and $45 per person after June 1. Team registration is a flat $250 for up to 10 members; a team captain may create the team and pay the team fee so that additional team members can be added without a separate team charge. Registration opens on March 1; individual registration closes May 30 and team registration closes June 18.
Awards include custom batons for each member of the team that finishes first, for members of the top male and top female teams, and for the top three finishers in each 10-year age group. The event description focuses on the course, fee structure, team options, and the stated purpose of supporting local suicide prevention work.
