Combustion Anniversary Beer Mile
The Combustion Anniversary Beer Mile is scheduled for April 18, 2026 at Combustion Brewery & Taproom in Pickerington, Ohio. The race starts and finishes in the brewery parking lot as part of the venue's ninth anniversary activities.
Each individual Beer Mile covers one mile on a quarter mile looped course. Participants consume one beer before each quarter mile lap for a total of four beers. The event runs multiple individual heats and a separate relay event for four person teams. Results are posted by heat and for overall finishers.
Registration opens on November 27, 2025 and closes on April 17, 2026. Individual registration fee is $50 and the four person relay team fee is $120. To receive an event shirt a participant must be registered by March 25, 2026; registrations after that date do not include a shirt option.
Participation rules require a minimum age of 21 and presentation of valid identification when picking up a bib. All beer is provided and poured by Combustion Brewery in plastic cups. The provided beer will be a light lager to be announced prior to the event or participants may choose the gluten free cider Blackberry Crusher as an alternative. Participants must arrange a designated driver or alternative transportation and will not be permitted to drive home after participating.
