Canyon Climb 8K/5K/1 Mile Fun Run
The Canyon Climb takes place in Anniston, Alabama on March 28, 2026. The event starts and finishes at the Tyler Center located at 731 Leighton Ave and routes pass through the hills of Anniston.

- 8K Robert Smith 8K Run
- 5K Nancy Grace 5K Run
- 1 Mile 1 Mile Fun Run
The Robert Smith 8K is USATF certified and has established course records. The organizer offers a fifty dollar reward for anyone who breaks the 8K course record; if the runner declines the cash it will be donated to a charity or a school athletic program. The 5K is a new 2026 course described as having less climbing than previous versions and is not certified. The 1 mile event is new for 2026 and awards a finisher medal to participants with an overall award for the first male and first female.
Awards include overall top three male and female for each distance and age group awards for top three male and female in five year increments for the 8K and 5K. Race day registration is listed at forty five dollars. T shirts are allocated by available stock. This event is the second race of the Anniston Runners Club Fab Four Series.
