The Bull Run for ALS of Michigan
The Bull Run for ALS of Michigan is an annual charity running event held at Kensington Metro Park, North Martindale Beach in Milford, Michigan. The event includes a chip timed 5K run/walk, a kids fun run called the Calf Mile for ages 10 and under, and a virtual 5K option with race swag shipped by the listed deadline.
The 5K is an out-and-back course on a paved pathway with some hills. The on-course route begins at Martindale Beach/Water Park, continues to the Milford connector circle, and returns to the start. The start and finish are located on the ball diamond; the course passes first base and finishes across home plate. The 5K is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Registration for the 5K begins at $40 and a no-shirt option is offered for $5 less. A performance tee is available through an early registration date. The Calf Mile has no fee for children 10 and under. The virtual 5K allows participants to run remotely and receive finishers items by the stated shipping date.
Packet pick-up is offered in advance at two local locations and on race day at the park. Awards include overall male and female winners and top three in multiple age groups. Live results are available during the event and full results are posted afterward. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
