The Bull Run for ALS of Michigan
The Bull Run for ALS of Michigan is the eighth annual event held at Kensington Metro Park, North Martindale Beach in Milford, Michigan. The event raises funds for ALS of Michigan to support people with ALS in the state.
Distances:
- 5K chip-timed run/walk on a paved out-and-back course
- Calf Mile half-mile fun run for children 10 and under
- InvisaBULL 5K virtual 5K with medal and shirt shipping options
The 5K course includes some hills and follows a paved pathway out from Martindale Beach/Water Park to the Milford connector circle and back. The event includes symbolic elements: the name honors the organizer's father, the finishers medal is a dog tag recognizing his military service, and the start/finish on a ball diamond is used as a symbolic finish.
Entry details include tiered pricing for the 5K with a base fee of $35 until September 6, later increases, and a separate fee for the virtual 5K. The Calf Mile is free for ages 10 and under. A finishers medal is included with registration; a performance tee is available as an add-on through September 6. Early packet pick-up is held on two days at local Brighton locations and additional packet pick-up is available at the park on race day.
The 5K is professionally chip-timed and results are available live during the event with full results posted afterward. Awards include gift certificates for first, second and third overall male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
