The BKLYN MILE
The BKLYN MILE, presented by HOKA, is a USATF certified point to point road mile held in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on August 2, 2026. The course runs along Kent Avenue, starts south of the Williamsburg Bridge, proceeds north underneath the bridge, and finishes adjacent to Marsha P. Johnson State Park.
The event consists of multiple one mile waves that separate participants by category and eligibility. Waves include masters races for ages 40 and older, bandit open waves for ages 12 to 39, invite only Trials of Miles fast mover races, and a friends and family mile that includes a kids division for ages 11 and under. All race entries are one mile.
Registration is scheduled from June 12 through July 31 with a general entry fee of $55 and a reduced fee of $15 for kids ages 11 and under. Race day registration is not available. Proceeds benefit Girls on the Run NYC.
All registrants receive an official bib and event reusable tote. The first 3,000 registrants receive a custom HOKA BKLYN MILE tee and custom Bandit Running socks. Additional participant items listed by the organizer include CELSIUS hydration sticks and access to custom training from the V.O2 Adaptive Trainer. Packet pick up is available at the Brooklyn Running Company Williamsburg location during race week and on race day at Marsha P. Johnson State Park.
