The Brooklyn Fall
The Brooklyn Fall takes place in Prospect Park, a central location within New York City's most populous borough. This annual event is held in November and utilizes a looped course structure that starts and finishes near the Greek Shelter (Peristyle). Each loop is timed in real-time, allowing participants to receive both split times and a final recorded time.
The event offers three distinct distances for participants:
- Half Marathon: A four-loop course totaling 13.1 miles.
- 10K: A two-loop course.
- 5K: A single loop of the park course.
The course features three water stations per loop, providing multiple opportunities for hydration and nutrition including water, Gatorade, and gels. Participants who register at least four weeks in advance receive a personalized bib, while those registering later receive a commemorative version. All finishers are provided with a technical T-shirt, a die-cast medal with a full-color ribbon, and access to finisher pictures and video.
Live tracking and streaming services are available during the race. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over.
