The Bridge Triathlon, Dartford
The Bridge Triathlon in Dartford is listed with tentative dates of 20 or 27 June 2027, to be confirmed. Organisers are also finalising dates for two children's races. Previous editions have included a separate sprint event in September and an expanded field for the standard race when it formed part of the London Series.
Race formats and published course distances include:
- Standard Distance, swim 1500 m, bike 42 km, run 10 km
- Relay, swim 1500 m, bike 42 km, run 10 km
- Sprint Distance, swim 750 m, bike 21 km, run 5 km
- GO TRI Distance, swim 300 m, bike 14 km, run 3.8 km
- Aqua Bike, options with 1500 m swim and 42 km bike, or 750 m swim and 21 km bike
Operational details noted by organisers include registration by a container and a finish area located to the left of the transition zone. Car parking is free and a short walk from registration. Water temperature is monitored on race mornings and wetsuit use is assessed by organisers. Non British Triathlon members require a day license which must include name and address details. If part of the course is unusable the event may be changed to an aquathon or a duathlon. If the race is cancelled due to bad weather a 50 percent refund policy applies.
