The Bridge Triathlon : The Bridge, Dartford
The Bridge Triathlon is a multi-discipline event held at The Bridge, Dartford (DA1 5PR). The swim takes place in a lake described as one of the cleanest in the south of England. The bike course uses closed roads. The event includes relay and aquabike options alongside individual triathlon distances.
The standard distance is part of the London Series this year. Entry fees are listed between £45 and £90, with several category-specific prices published for different race options. Some categories require entrants to be 17 or older.
Distances and formats offered:
- Standard distance: swim 1500 m, bike 42 km, run 10 km
- Sprint distance: swim 750 m, bike 24 km, run 5 km
- GO TRI distance: swim 400 m, bike 14 km, run 3.3 km
- Relay: swim 1500 m, bike 42 km, run 10 km
- Aqua Bike: options include 1500 m swim with 42 km bike, and 750 m swim with 22 km bike
If parts of the course are lost, the event may be changed to an alternative format. If roads become unusable the race may become an aquabike; if the lake is lost it may become a duathlon. No refunds are provided for these changes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
