The Boulevard Bolt
The Boulevard Bolt is an annual Thanksgiving Day run and walk held in Nashville on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event is based at St. George’s Episcopal School on Harding Pike and is organized by volunteers in collaboration with Immanuel Baptist Church, St. George’s Episcopal Church and The Temple Congregation Ohabai Sholom.
Registration includes two entry options:
- 5 Mile CHIP TIMED Timing chip applied to race bib; live results texted and emailed.
- 5 Mile NON TIMED Fun run with no official time recorded.
Race week packet pick up and onsite registration take place at The Temple, 5015 Harding Pike, with additional packet pick up on race day at St. George’s parking lot, 4715 Harding Pike. Race numbers and timing chips are available before the event and shirts are distributed after the event. T-shirt distribution is first-come-first-served and shirts are guaranteed only to the first 5,500 participants who pick up their race packet during race week.
The Boulevard Bolt began in 1994 and the 2026 event marks its 33rd anniversary. The field has grown from about 2,500 participants to more than 7,500 in recent years. All proceeds from the event go directly to local agencies working to end homelessness. A fundraising goal of $25,000 is listed for the event.
