About the race
The Nashville Running Company Shelby 6 Miler is a road and trail event held in Shelby Park in East Nashville on October 25, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Cornelia Fort Airpark and follows well groomed primitive trails through the park. Organizers describe the route as completely flat and suitable for runners trying a trail race for the first time or those aiming for a personal record.
Shirt availability is tied to registration timing: runners who register by October 11 are guaranteed a race shirt. Early packet pickup is scheduled for October 24 at Nashville Running Company (820 Woodland St). Race day packet pickup will be available at the race start location.
Prize awards are offered for top finishers: first place female and male receive a pair of HOKA shoes; second place female and male receive a HOKA swag bag; third place female and male receive a premium HOKA swag item. An additional prize is listed for the fastest female and male wearing a Halloween costume, consisting of a HOKA backpack with swag.
During registration there is an option to donate to two local nonprofit partners, Friends of Shelby and Move! Music City.
