The Big Run - Decatur
The Big Run is a community 5K organized by Fleet Feet Decatur and presented by Brooks. It takes place on June 3, 2026 at Fleet Feet Decatur, 1088 West Wood St, Decatur, IL 62522, United States. The event is offered as both an in person race and a virtual race and the distance is 3.1 Miles. Entry to the event is free; optional commemorative items are available for purchase.
In person registration opens March 22, 2026 and closes June 3, 2026. Virtual registration opens February 19, 2026 and closes May 22, 2026. Virtual participants complete the distance where they are and must submit results by June 8, 2026. Virtual participants who purchase a swag pack can pick it up at the store.
A paid swag pack may include a commemorative soft-style shirt and a custom finisher medal, available while supplies last. After the in person run there is a parking lot gathering with lawn games, giveaways, snacks and drinks. Volunteer opportunities are listed by the organizer for those who wish to help at the event.
