The Big Run presented by Brooks (Hoover, AL)
The Big Run presented by Brooks is a community 5K organized by Fleet Feet on Global Running Day, scheduled for June 3, 2026. The event is set at Veterans Park, 4800 Valleydale Road, Hoover, AL 35242.
The 5K is chip timed and uses the Spain Park cross country course. All finishers will receive an exclusive Big Run 5K race medal. The top three finishers in each age group will receive awards provided by Fleet Feet Birmingham and Brooks.
Vendors will be present before the race, and an after party is planned to follow the event. The race marks Fleet Feet’s fifty year milestone. Registration opens March 29, 2026 and closes June 3, 2026; the registration fee is $25.00.
