The Big Run presented by Brooks
The Big Run presented by Brooks is a community 5K produced by Fleet Feet and scheduled for June 3, 2026, at Veterans Park in Hoover, Alabama (4800 Valleydale Road). The event takes place on Global Running Day and is associated with Fleet Feet's five decades of activity.
The 5K uses chip timing and follows the Spain Park cross country course. All finishers receive an exclusive Big Run 5K race medal. The top three finishers in each age group will receive awards provided by Fleet Feet Birmingham and Brooks. A vendor village will be on site and an after party is planned following the race.
Registration opens March 29, 2026 and closes June 3, 2026; the stated registration fee is $25.00. A limited number of race shirts will be available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Proceeds from the 2026 Big Run 5K will benefit the Birmingham chapter of Girls on the Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
