The Big Run 5k presented by Fleet Feet & Brooks
The Big Run 5k takes place on June 3, 2026 in Richmond, Virginia along the Capital Trail at Rockett's Landing (3101 Wharf St, Richmond VA 23223). The event distance is 5K and the listed registration fee is $30.00. The organizer reported the race was sold out as of May 29.
Registered participants receive a medal, a t-shirt, and giveaways provided by local and national sponsors. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at the Fleet Feet Westhampton store, located at 5600 Patterson Avenue, Richmond VA 23226. Race-day packet pick-up will also be available at the event prior to the start.
As of April 23 the organizer noted a closure at Stone Brewing. Day-of packet pick-up and the event gathering were relocated from the Stone Brewing taproom to locations along the Capital Trail, and parking remains available at the former Stone Brewing site. The finish area will host post-race refreshments and awards.
Parking is limited and participants are advised that parking availability and event locations were adjusted because of the Stone Brewing closure. More information was to be provided closer to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
