The Big Run 5K - Fayetteville
The Big Run 5K is a running and walking event held in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as part of a Global Running Day celebration. The event features an out and back course presented by Brooks. Participants follow the route on open roads, as the course is not closed to traffic.
Participants can choose from the following event categories:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- Child Entry 5K (For children age 12 and under)
- White Bib 5K (3.1 Miles)
The event is not a timed race. Registration is available for general entry and a specific child entry for those 12 and under. The first 150 registered participants receive a race bib, a medal, and a technical t-shirt. Children registered under the specific child entry receive a medal from the previous year rather than the current year and do not receive a t-shirt.
The event takes place at the back parking lot of A New Leaf Therapeutic Services. Parking is available on-site for participants. Runners and walkers are invited to arrive early to visit with event vendors. For navigation, participants have the option to use the RunGo app for turn-by-turn directions during the event.
