Event Overview
The Memorial Day Run in Las Vegas is a community fitness event held at Sunset Park. This gathering focuses on remembrance and honors those who have served. It is organized as a small, private group run with participation caps for each wave to maintain a specific atmosphere. The event is open to participants of all ages and paces, including both runners and walkers. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
The event features multiple distances to accommodate different preferences:

- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Half-Marathon
- Virtual Run
Logistics and Timing
This run does not use timing chips. Instead, timing is optional. Participants may track their own progress using various running apps or request assistance from coordinators on-site to record their times. Results can be submitted through an online form to be posted after the event.
There is no physical packet pickup required to participate. Registration include a swag bag containing a running t-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a towel or other giveaway item. These items are shipped directly to the participant's mailing address within the US. Race bibs are provided at the venue on the morning of the run. Participants who register within two weeks of the event may receive their shipped items after the run date.
For those unable to attend in person, a virtual run option is available. This allows participants to complete their chosen distance at any location and time, using their own tracking device to verify results for a finisher's medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
