The Best 5K on the Brazos : Indian Spring Park, Waco TX
The Best 5K on the Brazos is held at Indian Spring Park in Waco, Texas, and follows a flat course along the Brazos River. The route is described as scenic and runs from the park alongside the river.
The event functions as the target race for the Waco Women’s Training Program and will serve as the first 5K race for many participants in that program. The race includes a competitive element with awards and age group recognition.
Finishers receive medals for the top overall male and female. Additional medals are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in five year age group categories, beginning with 14 and under and continuing through 70 and over.
