About the race
The Bello Gallico is a trail event around Oud-Heverlee with running and walking options that use the Roosenberg as race headquarters (Maurits Noëstraat 15, 3050 Oud‑Heverlee, Belgium). Registration at the Roosenberg is mandatory for all participants. No on-site registrations are accepted during the race weekend.
Distances and entry fee information:
- 200 km run: €165, 250 places
- 100 km run: €90, 150 places
- 160 km walk: €125, 100 places
- 80 km walk: €70, 100 places
Registration opens on January 9th and closes on December 1st 2026. Cancellations are accepted until November 13th 2026 with a 50% refund. Places are allocated first come, first served and there is no waitlist. Transfers to another participant are permitted until December 1st 2026.
The event provides race numbers, a GPS tracker, finisher medal, well stocked checkpoints about every 20 km, pre‑race dinner, hot mid‑race meals for the longest distances, a post‑race BBQ, medical and safety teams, and showers at Manege Meerdaalhof roughly 600 metres from HQ. Walk versions have a maximum speed of 6.5 km/h and are non ranked with a Finisher label only.
Mandatory kit checks are performed; participants must carry specified safety and navigation items. Trackers include an SOS button that will trigger extraction and prevent rejoining. Trackers must be returned or a €150 charge applies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
