Event Details
The Bakersfield Waffle Run offers several events on September 26, 2026, at an address on Stockdale Highway in Bakersfield. The available distances are:
- 5K Run / Walk
- Kids 5K Run / Walk (for participants 9 years old and under)
- 10K Run
- Virtual 5K Run / Walk
- Virtual 10K Run
The 5K and 10K routes share the same start point. Turnaround signs on the course indicate where the routes split. 5K runners pass one water station at the midway point. 10K runners have access to three water stations along the route.
Amenities and Awards
The event provides participants with a free waffle, a post-race recovery snack pack, race photos, water and electrolytes on the course, and music at the start and finish line. Strollers are welcome. The first 300 participants on race day are guaranteed a race day T-shirt and a custom medal. Overall male and female awards are presented, along with top age group awards.
A portion of the event's proceeds funds the PÁLI College Scholarship Fund. The event is organized in collaboration with the CSU Bakersfield Kinesiology Department. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
