Fog Run
The Probation Auxiliary County of Kern presents the 37th Annual Fog Run at Lake Ming in Bakersfield, California on January 9, 2027. The event offers both in-person races and a virtual option, with a scenic course that includes lake and mountain views.

Proceeds benefit the Kern County Probation Department's Helping Hands program. Helping Hands is a nonprofit that supports at-risk youth by providing scholarships, vocational training, mentoring, clothing, hygiene products, and other basic needs. The event is organized to support those services and the local community.
Packet pickup is scheduled on days prior to the event at the Kern County Probation Department and at Orangetheory Fitness in Bakersfield. Race day check-in and packet pickup take place at Lake Ming. The event will occur rain or shine.
