Event overview
The Bà Duathlon is scheduled for Saturday 5 September 2026 in Kinlochewe, Scotland. It is an off-road duathlon with an advertised total distance of 80 miles and 3,000 m of total elevation. Entries open on Friday 31 October 2025 and close on Friday 31 July 2026. The minimum age is 18 or older. The published entry fee is £90 and the event shows 13 participants entered so far. Course and logistics
The format combines an off-road run and a road bike leg. The off-road run covers 18 miles on mountain trails with about 1,000 m of climbing and descending before the bike section. The road ride is 62 miles returning to Kinlochewe and includes a closed-road section over Bealach Na Bà. The event lists timed segments for the uphill run, the Bealach bike climb, and overall time. Services for entrants include a bike shuttle from the start to the transition zone, mountain safety cover, feed stations with snacks and hydration, and an end-of-event meal with a ceilidh dance. There is a camping field option for a £10 donation available from Friday to Sunday.
