Event overview
The Bà Duathlon takes place on 5 September 2026 in Kinlochewe, Scotland. It is an off-road duathlon combining a mountain trail run with a road bike ride that joins The Bà Sportive route. Entry fee is £90. Entries open 31 October 2025 and close 31 July 2026. Minimum age is 18 or older. Course, services and logistics
- 18 miles off-road run on mountain trails, with about 1,000 m of climb before transition.
- 62 miles road ride back to Kinlochewe via the west coast and the Bealach Na Bà closed road section.
- 80 miles total distance and about 3,000 m of total elevation across run and ride.
The route includes a closed-road section over Bealach Na Bà. The event provides a bike shuttle from the start to the transition zone, timed segments for uphill run, Bealach bike climb and overall time, mountain safety cover, feed stations, and an end-of-event meal and ceilidh dance.
