The Automaster Shelburne Half Marathon & 5k/10k
The event in Shelburne, Vermont offers three distances: a half marathon plus 5K and 10K courses that begin and end at Shelburne Field House. The half marathon is a loop course that uses a combination of dirt and back roads, includes a portion on the Meach Cove property, passes Shelburne Farms, and follows a stretch of Harbor Road with views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. The 5K and 10K are out-and-back courses along Harbor Road; the 5K is relatively flat while the 10K includes a couple of hills.

There are three water stations on course supplying plain water and UnTapped Mapleaid hydration in cups; volunteers place cups on a table rather than handing them directly to runners. Portable toilets are available at the start/finish and at two points on the course. Parking is first come first served at Shelburne Field House with overflow at Shelburne Train Station and Shelburne Community School on Harbor Road.
Race rules note that parts of the course remain open to traffic; runners may be instructed to run against traffic where indicated, must run no more than two abreast, and must display bib numbers on the front of the body. Awards for overall and age group winners and a post-race raffle are part of the event. There is a 3.5 hour time limit for the half marathon and course support may not be available after that limit.
