The Anime 5K
The Anime 5K is an anime-themed 5-kilometer fun run and walk held in Columbus, Georgia. The event takes place on March 27, 2027 at 12 W 11th St., Columbus, GA 31901. Participants are encouraged to wear anime-inspired costumes or gear and may run or walk the course.
Registration opens on September 6, 2026 and closes on March 26, 2027. The registration fee is $30 through March 26 and $40 on March 27. Registrants who register by March 15, 2027 at noon are guaranteed a race shirt; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt. Shirt availability depends on registration and inventory.
Packet pick-up is available on March 26 at Big Dog Fleet Feet, 12 W 11th Street, and also on race morning at the same location. Awards are given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall, 1st Masters, and in age groups for Under 14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. Male and female categories will be recognized.
A portion of race proceeds will be allocated for scholarships to support students interested in healthcare professions, with the aim of helping them explore and develop career paths into medicine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
