Event overview
The Alpenglow 100 is a mountain trail running event in Valemount, BC, Canada, held July 3-5, 2026. The venue is on Whiskey Fill Road in the Robson Valley. The event is organized by Coast Mountain Trail Running. For 2026, all race distances were sold out and the participant list shows 802 entrants. Several fundraising groups are listed with totals raised, including one that has raised $8,210.51 toward a $10,000 goal.
Course and distances
The race course incorporates two local mountains, McKirdy and Swift, with a high point above 2300 meters (almost 8000 ft). The high alpine sections include views toward Mt. Robson, the Premier’s Range, many Rocky Mountain peaks, the Monashees, and Kinbasket Lake. Distances offered were:

- 100 km
Registration, fees and policies
Examples of listed registration prices (including Race Roster processing fees) were: 38 km $114.12, 65 km $269.92, 100 km $382.73. Online registration closed when sold out. A 5% GST applies to registration fees; merchandise purchases include 5% GST and 7% PST. Bibs are not transferable. There is no waitlist or transfers after a distance sells out. Deferral rules: up to 30 days before the race a 100% deferral to another not-yet-sold-out CMTR event; 14 to 30 days before the race a 50% deferral; within two weeks of the race no refunds or deferrals. Participants may drop down in distance at any time with no cost or refund. Full refunds require optional refund insurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
