Event details
The Alpenglow 100 takes place in Valemount, British Columbia, Canada from July 3 to July 5, 2026. The event lists 802 participants and is organized by Coast Mountain Trail Running. The course incorporates two local mountains, McKirdy and Swift, with high alpine sections that top out at over 2300 m (almost 8000 ft). The route offers views of Mt. Robson, the Premier’s Range, surrounding Rockies peaks, the Monashees, and Kinbasket Lake.

Entry, fees and policies
Online registration closed at midnight on June 1, 2026. Shown prices include mandatory processing fees where noted; 5% GST applies to registration and GST plus PST apply to merchandise. Bibs are not transferable. If a race distance is sold out there is no waitlist and no transfers. Deferral policy: up to 30 days before the race a 100% deferral to another not-yet-sold-out CMTR event is allowed; between 14 and 30 days a 50% deferral is allowed. Within two weeks of the race there are no refunds or deferrals except when optional refund insurance was purchased. In the event of event cancellation for causes such as weather or fires, a limited refund and a discount toward the following year may be provided.
