The Event
The Alpenglow 100 is a trail running event taking place in Valemount, British Columbia, from July 3 to 5, 2026. The event offers three race distances. The course incorporates two local mountains, McKirdy and Swift, with summits exceeding 2300 meters (almost 8000 feet).
The Location
Valemount is a small mountain town located at the confluence of three mountain ranges: the Canadian Rockies, the Cariboos, and the Monashees. The high alpine course provides sightline views of Mt. Robson to the north, the Premier's Range to the west, endless Rockies peaks to the east, as well as the Monashees and Kinbasket Lake to the south.
