The Alden Run
The Alden Run takes place Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Alden, Michigan, centered at the Helena Township Community Center, 8751 Helena Rd.

- 2 Mile Fun Walk
The 5K and 10K courses are USA Track & Field sanctioned and use varied terrain including pavement, dirt roads, and two tracks through the woods of Antrim County. The 2 Mile Fun Walk follows all paved roads and is stroller, pet, and kid friendly.
The event has been part of Alden Days since 1980 and is noted to start at a quilt show and end at a rummage sale. Proceeds are shared with Bellaire, Mancelona, and Central Lake schools, supporting athletic and art departments, and funds are also donated to the Downtown Alden Business Association and other local nonprofit organizations.
Registration opens April 15, 2026; listed price is $30 for each event. The event includes eclectic race awards and door prizes from local merchants, with awards and prizes distributed after the race.
