Event overview
The Alden Run takes place Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Alden, Michigan at the Helena Township Community Center (8751 Helena Rd). The event has been part of Alden Days since 1980 and is described as starting at a quilt show and ending at a rummage sale. Events offered are:

- 2 Mile Fun Walk
Registration opens April 15, 2026. Entry fee listed is $30 for each event. Results will be provided live by Yooper Running Company with final results posted to yooperrunning.com. The race features awards and door prizes from local merchants that are given after the race.
Course, format and beneficiaries
The 5K and 10K courses are USA Track & Field sanctioned. These courses include pavement, dirt roads, and two tracks through the woods of Antrim County. The 2 Mile Fun Walk is on paved roads and is noted as stroller, pet, and kid friendly. Proceeds are shared with Bellaire, Mancelona, and Central Lake schools, with funds allocated to athletic and art departments.
