The Ad Gefrin Trail Race

The Ad Gefrin Trail Race is an off-road running event organized by Cheviot Trail Events. Based in Wooler, Northumberland, the race is centered around the Ad Gefrin Distillery, which serves as the venue for registration and the final destination for participants.

The route is designed to provide scenic views and includes fast, runnable sections. Participants are transported from the meeting point to the official starting line via coach. The course begins with an ascent of Yeavering Bell Hill. After the climb, runners descend to join the St Cuthbert's Way trail, which leads them back toward Wooler.
