The Thacher Park Trail Running Festival takes place on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Thacher State Park in Voorheesville, NY. The event is produced by ARE Event Productions and was created in 2014 in conjunction with the Thacher Park Centennial Festival.

All races start and finish at Hailes Cave Pavilion and share the same first 10K loop. The 13.1M continues with a south-side loop. The 26.2M repeats the 13.1M course, and the 50K follows the 26.2M before adding a shorter additional loop. Runners pass the finish area at the 13.1M mark and again at the 26.2M mark where applicable.
This is a cupless trail event; participants must supply their own bottle. Nuun is available at most aid stations except at the water-only locations labeled A and C. Full service aid stations provide gels and other snacks.
Packet pickup is held exclusively on race day from 7:30am until 8:15am and race day registration is accepted. The park charges a $6 fee per vehicle and carpooling is encouraged. Medals are awarded to finishers in the 26.2M and 50K. Multiple time cut-offs are enforced on course and participants who miss a cut-off may be moved to a shorter distance.
