The event is a timed and chipped 5 km road race held in Termonfeckin, County Louth, with start and finish at Termonfeckin Celtic Football Club on Sheetland Road. The route goes through the village, over the humpback bridge, along Sea Point road and residential grounds near Sea Point Golf Club, through An-grianan lane, onto the Baltray road and back into the village past Scoil Naomh Feichín.
Entries include an adult fee of €20 and a juvenile fee of €15 for ages 13–17. A T-shirt is provided for the first 100 entries. Prize awards are listed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places male and female, and for juvenile categories U14 and U16 male and female. The race offers chip timing and a prize fund, and refreshments are provided for participants after the race.
