Termonfeckin 5km 2026
The Termonfeckin 5km is a chipped and timed road event organised by MyRunResults for Termonfeckin Celtic. The race uses a largely flat 5 km route starting and finishing at the club grounds on Sheetland Road in Termonfeckin, Co. Louth. The course runs through the village, past the church of the Immaculate Conception, over a humpback bridge, along Sea Point Road and through residential grounds near Sea Point Golf Club before returning via Baltray Road.
Entry fees are listed per category: adult and juvenile (ages 13 to 17). A limited event T-shirt is provided for the first 100 entries. Prize awards are offered for the first three male and female finishers and for juvenile categories U14 and U16. Post-race refreshments and a prize raffle are planned.
Event logistics note partial road closures on the route. Facilities at the club include warm-up areas, on-site toilets, a drop-off point and limited village parking at several local locations. Number collection and registration are organised in advance on the scheduled collection sessions. Local participants are advised to consider walking to the event to reduce parking demand.
