Termonfeckin 5km 2026
The Termonfeckin 5km is a community road race held in Termonfeckin, County Louth, on 19 September 2026. The event distance is 5 km and organisers operate chipped timing and result support through MyRunResults. The entry fees are €20 for adults and €15 for juveniles aged 13 to 17. A T-shirt is provided to the first 100 entries.
The course starts and finishes outside the clubhouse at Termonfeckin Celtic Football Club on Sheetland Road and follows a loop through the village and nearby lanes. The route passes the church of the Immaculate Conception, a humpback bridge, Sea Point road and beach, the grounds near Sea Point Golf Club, An-grianan lane, the Baltray road and Scoil Naomh Feichín before returning to the village. The course is described as fast and flat.
Prizes are offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall male and female finishers and for juvenile categories U14 male and female and U16 male and female. Partial road closures will be in place during the event. Registration and number collection are available on the Friday evening before the race and on the morning of the event. Refreshments and on-site toilets are provided. Limited parking is available at local points and a drop-off area is provided at the club grounds.
