Templeton Trail Race
The Templeton Trail Race is a fun, approximately 5.5 to 6-mile trail running event held in Templeton Woods near Dundee. Designed as an accessible introduction to trail racing, the course features mostly well-defined park paths with some trail sections and short climbs, making it suitable for runners aged 18 and over. The one-lap route is marked with tape and flour, with marshals at junctions.
The race starts and finishes near the Clatto Centre at Clatto Reservoir, where limited parking and minimal changing facilities are available. Participants enjoy refreshments post-race, and prizes are awarded across various age and club categories. First aid is provided, and results are published online shortly after the event.
