Telemark Sprint Triathlon
The Telemark Sprint Triathlon takes place in Cable, Wisconsin on Saturday, August 15, 2026. This is the second annual edition of the event. It follows a sprint format with separate individual and relay divisions; a relay team may split legs between members.
The course uses local landmarks and facilities. The swim is held on Perry Lake from the Perry Lake Boat Landing. The bike course follows roads around Takodah Lake. The run uses the paved Telemark Trail system and finishes near the future site of the Telemark Activity Center. The Telemark Northwoods Community Foundation is planning the activity center and is raising funds through this event.
Transition and logistics information is provided for participants. Bike racks are located at Perry Lake Landing and at the bike-to-run transition at the base of Mt. Telemark. Participants may drop a bag at bib pick-up or on race morning for use in the bike-to-run transition. There is no parking at the swim start; parking is at the Telemark Lower Parking Lot near the bike-to-run transition. A shuttle from Telemark to the start includes a bike rack and requires a reserved spot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
