Tecumseh Trail Challenge Festival
The Tecumseh Trail Challenge Festival is scheduled for October 17, 2026 at Yellowwood State Forest near Nashville, Indiana. The event is the 24th running of this trail festival and features multiple trail distances including a multi-person relay option.

- 26.2 (marathon)
- 50k
- 50k Relay for teams of 2 to 4 people
Online registration closes on October 10; in-person registration may be available on event weekend if the race is not sold out. Festival-style tent camping is available at the race site. Camping is primitive, tent only, with pit toilets and porta potties; camping at the site carries a small per-person fee. There are 74 additional primitive campsites about one mile south of the event site and other lodging options in the surrounding area.
Course materials and support include published GPX files and Avenza maps for each distance. Drop bags are allowed for marathon and 50k runners only, limited to one bag per aid station with two total; 50k runners will pass one drop bag location twice at the Dam Aid. Packet pickup, training runs, and trail maintenance sessions are scheduled in the weeks before the race.
Post-race items noted for 2026 include finisher medals, age-group awards for top three male and female finishers in each category, on-site finish engraving, a planned food service, live music, a fire pit and community-focused festival amenities. Organizers list DINO and Indiana Trail Running as event partners and indicate the course was redesigned around a railroad closure and uses sections of the Tecumseh Hiking Trail.
