Tecumseh Trail Challenge - Yellowwood State Forest
The Tecumseh Trail Challenge is an annual trail running festival held on October 17, 2026, at Yellowwood State Forest near Nashville, Indiana (775 Yellowwood Lake Rd). The event offers multiple course options and is based at the Group Camp by Yellowwood Lake.

- 50k
- 50k 2-4 person relay
- 26.2 (marathon)
- 13.1 (half marathon)
- 8 Mile
Festival-style camping is available on site; camping is tent only with pit toilets and portable restrooms. There are 74 primitive campsites approximately one mile south of the event site; camping at the festival costs $5 per person and is paid at registration. Additional lodging options are listed for nearby Brown County and Nashville area accommodations.
Race support information includes course maps, GPX files, and aid station details. Drop bags are permitted for 50k and marathon runners only, with one bag allowed per aid station (two total). Course maps are provided for each distance and the 50k relay uses the 8 Mile course for relay legs.
Post-race provisions noted for 2026 include finisher medals, age-group awards for top three men and women in each category, on-site finish engraving, food options, a fire pit, and on-site tents.
