Tecumseh Trail Challenge Festival - Yellowwood State Forest
The Tecumseh Trail Challenge Festival is the 24th annual trail running event held at Yellowwood State Forest near Nashville, Indiana on October 17, 2026. The festival offers multiple trail distances and a separate relay option, with course maps and GPX files provided for each distance.

- 13.1 (half marathon)
- 26.2 (marathon)
- 50k
- 50k Relay (uses the 8 Mile course)
Registration closes online on October 10 at midnight; in-person registration may be available if the event is not sold out. Packet pick-up and late registration are available the day before and on the day of the event at Yellowwood Group Camp. Festival-style camping is available at the race site; camping is tent only with pit toilets and porta potties. Camping costs $5 per person, payable at registration or through the event store. There are 74 primitive campsites about one mile south of the event site; on-site campground registration is through the Forest Service office.
Aid station and drop bag policies apply: drop bags are allowed only for 50K and marathon runners (one per aid station, two total). Post-race items include finisher medals, age-group awards for top three men and women in each age group, and on-site custom finish engravings.
