Teal Ribbon Run / Hope For Heather
The Teal Ribbon Run/Walk is an annual community event organized to support ovarian cancer awareness, local patient support, and research. The 19th edition is scheduled for May 2027 with a live event at Lewis Park in Minoa, NY and a virtual option taking place during mid-May.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation across multiple formats. Live activities include a run course through the village of Minoa and a family walk. Virtual participants may complete their chosen distance on a personal course and upload results for comparison. Registered virtual participants receive an event shirt plus downloadable bib and certificate; some early registrants are eligible for a shirt option for the live event. Awards are presented for top runners in age groups. Team tent spaces are available at the live site.
Additional activities and features listed for the event include an on-site basket raffle and sponsor-supported benefits. The main road near the park will be closed during the event, which restricts access to the site. Free parking is provided at the live location. Sponsorship levels with listed benefits are offered to businesses and organizations supporting the event.
