Teal Ribbon Run / Walk - Hope for Heather
The Teal Ribbon Run / Walk is a live and virtual fundraising event organized by Hope for Heather in Minoa, NY. The live event takes place at Lewis Park on May 16, 2026. The live 5K is a certified, chip timed course described as flat with long level sections, few corners and an asphalt surface. The final third of the course slopes downward toward the finish. The 3K family walk follows local streets past village landmarks and includes live music along the route. Results are organized by age and gender divisions for runners.
After-race activities and entrant benefits listed by the organizer include team awards, age group awards for top male and female finishers, awards for top fundraisers, a basket raffle and an adult bib benefit that provides a free slice of pizza or a draft beer at a local business. Hope for Heather is a volunteer nonprofit and the event raises funds for ovarian and gynecologic cancer awareness, local patient support and research.
