About the race
TCS Lidingöloppet 30 km is a trail race held on 26 September that covers 30 km and about 522 hm. The course alternates between flat meadow sections and gravel roads, sloping forest trails and steeper uphill stretches, which makes route study and pacing relevant for planning.
The classic 30 km track is open for training around the clock and the final ten kilometres are lit until 22:00 daily. Staffed aid stations along the course provide sport drink and water at multiple locations; several stations also offer bananas, buns, salt cucumber and cola, and the finish area additionally offers coffee. Marathon Photos photographs participants along the course and at the finish line and images can be purchased after the race. Enervit offers energy packages with specific products for the 30 km distance and new package options for 2026.
Competition classes include M30 and K30 from 17 years. There is a mixed-team competition where teams consist of three women and three men and ranking is based on the combined time of the six best runners. All finishers receive a bronze medal with an annual Carl Milles motif; runners who meet published silver thresholds may have their medal upgraded after time verification. Live timing is provided via a chip on the race bib and results are published after the finish.
The event is part of En Svensk Klassiker and includes a sport fair, music and activations, free buses between Ropsten and Lidingövallen and checkpoint time limits that 30 km runners must meet to continue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
