Event Overview
The TBC Oro Valley 5k is a running event held in conjunction with the Tucson Bicycle Classic. It takes place in the rolling hills of Oro Valley. The event is hosted by On Your Left Fitness and Timing.
Course and Logistics
The 5k race starts and finishes at Naranja Park in Tucson, Arizona. Participants run the same route that cyclists use for their races later in the day. There is a water station at the 1.5-mile point. All participants receive a custom race bib, a finisher medal, and an online finisher's certificate.
Post-Race and Awards
Participants aged 21 and over receive one free beer or non-alcoholic beverage at the finish line. After the run, spectators can stay to watch the cycling races. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the form of gift certificates.
Parking Information
There is no parking available at Naranja Park. Parking is recommended at Copper Creek Elementary School, which is approximately a half-mile walk from the start. An alternative is to park at the Oro Valley Library and use a provided shuttle bus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
