TaterFest Couch Potato 1-Miler
TaterFest returns to Mount Jackson on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Lions Park. The event is a family-friendly community festival that celebrates potatoes with food, contests, music, and activities.
The program includes a Couch Potato 1-Miler and a variety of potato-themed events such as the Tater Catapult Launch, Cowpie Bingo, a French Fry Eating Contest, and Granny’s Tater Salad Contest. Pageantry elements include Lil Miss Sweet Potato and Mr. Spud Muffin contests. Agricultural and arts offerings feature an Antique Tractor Show, agricultural education exhibits, and a Mashed Potato Sculpting Contest.
Additional attractions on the main stage and in the park include live music, a Farmers Market, a Tater-Tot Kids Zone, and a Beer and Wine Garden for guests 21 and older. Admission is free for festival activities.
