Tarzan Brown Mystic River Run
The Tarzan Brown Mystic River Run is the 51st edition of this event. It takes place on a Saturday in November. The event offers two distances.
- A main 5 mile run.
- A Kids Fun Run of 0.5 miles for participants aged 10 and under.
The course for the 5-mile event is described as a wheel-measured out-and-back route on River Road, with views along the Mystic River. The kids' run is a flat and easy half-mile course.
The event starts and finishes on Pearl Street in Mystic, Connecticut. The exact start/finish location is at the Dinoto Funeral Home on 17 Pearl Street. A post-race party is held at the Mystic Museum of Art on 9 Water Street, which is a short walk from the finish.
Early packet pickup is available at Kelley's Pace in Mystic on a date to be determined. Race day packet pickup is also available. Proceeds from the event benefit the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
