Tarrywile Half Marathon
The event takes place at Tarrywile Park, 70 Southern Blvd., Danbury, CT, and features trail running on a variety of paths and single-track trails. The course includes rocky, rooty and hilly sections and offers viewpoints of Danbury and the park lakes. Portions of the trail are technical Northeast single track.

The course is loop-based: the 10K is one loop, the half marathon is two loops, and the marathon is four loops. Total elevation gain is listed as 1500'+ for the 10K, 3K+ for the half marathon, and 6K+ for the marathon. Hikers and walkers may participate in the 10K and half marathon but must finish within the seven-hour time limit.
Registration closes on Sat, Nov 14 at 11:59 PM ET. The refund policy states there are no refunds and no transfers of registration or bibs; entry fees are used to prepare and produce the event.
Finisher medals are provided by Ragged Cuts. Awards include podium places for the top three overall male and female in each distance. There is a $600 cash bonus to the first male under 1:45 and the first female under 2:00 in the half marathon.
A post-race celebration will offer bagels, bananas, pizza and non-alcoholic hydration; live music is a possibility. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
