About the race
The Tarpon Springs multi-discipline event takes place in Tarpon Springs, Florida, with swim sections off Fred Howard Beach and run segments inside Fred Howard Park. The bike courses use paved, closed roads that cross Fred Howard Causeway and pass through historic Tarpon Springs. Race operations are supported by local police and race volunteers.

Distances offered include: - Sprint Triathlon: 0.25 mile swim, 10 mile bike, 5K run - Sprint Duathlon: 5K run, 10 mile bike, 5K run - Sprint AquaBike: 0.25 mile swim and 10 mile bike - Olympic Triathlon: 0.5 mile swim, 20 mile bike, 10K run - Olympic AquaBike: 0.5 mile swim and 20 mile bike - 5K Run: 3.1 miles Categories cover age-group divisions, Athena and Clydesdale weight-restricted divisions, adaptive and novice divisions, non-competitive options, and relay teams. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Triathlon awards include overall and age-based awards with three deep in five-year age groups and special divisions such as Physically Challenged and Military/LEO/PSO.
New for 2027 are awards for top relay teams only, and new masters 50+ awards in Duathlon and Aquabike. Packet pickup is available at a local bike shop on the two evenings before the race and at the race start on race morning; transition opens and closes on race morning.
