TARC Spring Classic: Jericho Town Forest
The TARC Spring Classic is a trail running event held in the Jericho Town Forest in Weston, Massachusetts on April 25, 2026. Distances offered include:
- 10K loop repeated as needed
- Half marathon using added loop mileage
- Marathon using added loop mileage
- 50K using multiple loops
The course is described as relatively flat and smooth, built around a bespoke 10K loop with the start and finish at 292 Concord Road. The loop’s start/finish hosts the event’s single aid station; that aid station is cupless and participants must bring their own hydration system. The aid station provides vegan friendly options including hydration, fruit, snacks, sandwiches, chips, and other items.
The course will be marked with flagging and signs at major intersections; participants are advised to review course maps and download the GPX file for their GPS devices. If a runner goes off course they must backtrack; GPS review may be used to verify course compliance. Cutoffs are strictly enforced and sweepers will remove markers during the afternoon, so runners must stay ahead of sweepers.
Other event details: parking is in a grassy field with volunteers directing cars and additional parking a short walk away; carpooling is encouraged. The event follows a Leave No Trace policy. The race is Trail Sisters Approved, partners with Pride on Foot, welcomes adaptive athletes under specified conditions, and operates a no-refund policy. Entry fees support land conservations and trusts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
