Tap Root Fields Strawberry Family Fun Run/Walk
This is a self-timed family run and walk held at Tap Root Fields in Skaneateles, NY. The event is open to all ages and abilities; participants may walk, jog, or run at their own pace while exploring the property. The course winds around open fields and through newly established trails on the farm.
Three mapped loops are available for participants to choose from. The terrain includes wood-chipped trails, open fields, and inclines; some routes include hills and are not suitable for standard strollers, walkers, or wheelchairs.
On the grounds, picnic tables and open lawn space are available for rest and socializing. Family-oriented amenities include a bounce house and areas suitable for tossing a frisbee or playing catch with a football. Seasonal strawberry offerings will be available, such as strawberry-infused refreshments, fresh berries, strawberry shortcake, pies, jams, cookies, and chocolate-covered strawberries.
