Event Format
The Tanri Lake Race offers several race formats. The Relay Race is a team event for teams of three runners. Each runner must complete four loops of a 5-mile course, with each loop run in the same order. The race runs from morning until evening on race day, with a cutoff time in the afternoon for starting the final loop.
The Individual Race is a 10-hour endurance event where participants aim to complete as many laps as possible. Each lap is also 5 miles long. A standalone 10K race is also offered, consisting of one 6.2-mile loop around the lake.
