Tanri Lake Race - Miramonte, CA
Tanri Lake Race on August 29, 2026 features relay, individual and 10K events held near Miramonte, California. The course sits at approximately 6,000 feet elevation and uses a lakeside loop.
The event includes these course formats:
- Relay - 5-mile loop; teams of 3; each runner completes four loops.
- 10K - one loop, 6.2 miles; Men's and Women's divisions.
- Individual - 5-mile laps over a 10 hour race; complete as many laps as possible.
Relay teams must maintain the same running order for each runner; deviations result in disqualification. The Relay has no Men's or Women's division and awards cash prizes for the top three teams: 1st $600, 2nd $450, 3rd $300. The 10K and Individual races each offer Men's and Women's divisions with cash prizes: 10K 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $75; Individual 1st $200, 2nd $150, 3rd $100.
Only entrants in the Individual race are eligible for the Western States raffle; runners must complete at least eight laps to qualify. Raffle entries increase for consecutive years of participation: first year 1 ticket, second year 2 tickets, third year 4 tickets.
