Tammy's Walk : August 22, 2026
Tammy's Walk is an annual memorial walk held at Walbridge Park in Toledo. The event honors a local woman who was a victim of domestic violence and was killed in Toledo on August 25, 2007. The 2026 edition marks the 16th year of the walk.
The walk raises awareness about domestic violence in Lucas County and directs proceeds to Advocates for Victims and Justice, Inc., a nonprofit that supports victims of violent crime in the county. The event is free to attend; registration opens on May 8, 2026 and closes on the day of the walk, August 22, 2026. T-shirts are available for purchase during registration or on the morning of the event.
The scheduled walking distance is 2.5 Miles. Participants can expect complimentary donuts provided by Wixey Bakery and raffle prize drawings with tickets available for purchase. Sponsorship opportunities are offered by the organizers.
