About the race
The Tallaght AC 5K Road Race is an annual road race held on 17 March 2027 in Greenhills Road, Tallaght. This is the fifth year the club has hosted the event and it forms part of the St Patricks Day festival parade. The event is permitted, certificate number 26/453.
The race incorporates the Dublin Novice Championship. To enter that championship competitors must be members of Dublin Athletics Club and at least 19 years old. General entry is open to runners aged 13 years and older. The entry fee is 20 euro. A Tec T shirt will be provided to the first 700 online entrants.
The organiser reports that the race sold out early in the previous two years and expects similar demand in 2027. Juvenile races are also scheduled on the same day.
