Taking Strides to Save Lives 5K : C.R.E.W. Non-profit
The event is a community 5K run/walk and a parallel virtual 5K held on June 6, 2026, at Garrett Mountain in Woodland Park, New Jersey. It is organized by C.R.E.W., a non-profit focused on cancer awareness, support, and education for young people, adults, and families.
Registration is offered for an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K. Online registration windows and fees are set separately for each option. Registered participants who sign up by May 27 receive a T-shirt and finisher medal, and additional items are available while supplies last. Race day packet pickup and on-site registration are included in the event program.
The program also includes opening remarks and a recognition and awards ceremony. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and top three overall female finishers. All proceeds will support cancer research, colon cancer awareness, sponsorships for families and patients, therapeutic and recreational services, and scholarships. Timing and event management are provided by TNT Event Management.
