Taco Fun Run - Bakersfield
The Taco Fun Run - Bakersfield is the first annual event held on Saturday August 15, 2026 in Bakersfield, California at 4200 Empire Drive. The event program includes multiple running and walking options for families and children.

- 6K run (3.72 miles)
- 2 mile walk
- Kids run
The event offers on-site food including tacos and agua fresca, a unique event medal and an additional Reyes Running Series medal. There will be music on the course and a designated running course for the 6K and 2 mile walk.
Awards are provided for the 6K only; top three finishers in each age group receive awards. Age group categories for 6K awards are under 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus. The 2 mile walk does not include age group awards or top finisher awards.
Bib pickup is available only on race day at Yokuts Park in Bakersfield. The event includes separate kids races as part of the morning schedule. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
