- 13.1 mi (half-marathon)
Courses and logistics
Course options include a Lookout Point half-marathon and a (mostly) downhill half-marathon that finishes at the Casper College campus. The 10K and 5K start and finish on the campus and use sections of the Platte River Trail and campus roads. Runners on the half-marathon and 10K courses are asked not to wear earbuds or headphones because courses share the road with vehicle traffic. The courses are not certified.
Packet pick-up is the day before the event on campus at the University Union building, first-floor lobby. Registration is non-refundable and closes the day before the race at 3 p.m.; same-day registration is allowed but will not include chip timing. Virtual race entries are available; virtual runners receive a T-shirt but are not included in chip-timed results. Children under 12 run free with a registered adult; only registered participants receive a medal and a shirt. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race. The event uses professional timing with live results, result cards for all participants, and split times for half-marathon runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
