Syracuse Mudtastic Classic

The Syracuse Mudtastic Classic is an obstacle course event held at the WACF Levinson-LaBrosse Lakes & Wetlands Education Center. The location is situated approximately one mile south of Syracuse on State Road 13. This annual event focuses on a non-competitive format where participants navigate a trail through natural terrain and man-made structures.

The course covers a distance of approximately 2.25 miles. It features more than 15 obstacles that involve climbing, crawling, and navigating water and mud. The terrain consists of uneven ground throughout the wetlands area. Participants have the option to bypass any specific obstacle if they choose.

Safety and convenience facilities include water stations along the trail for hydration and a dedicated cleaning area near the finish line equipped with hoses. Post-activity refreshments are provided at the Ruddell Pavilion. Spectators are permitted to watch from designated viewing areas marked along the course.

Participants can enter as individuals or in teams of up to 10 members. Registration is open to adults and children aged 7 and older. The event proceeds in various weather conditions, including rain, but maintains a backup date in June in the event of severe weather. On-site parking is available at the education center and nearby property. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
