Symonds Yat Super Looper
The Symonds Yat Super Looper is a six hour solo trail running event held at Symonds Yat on Saturday 13 March 2027. Competitors have six hours to complete as many laps as possible of a marked 5.25 km loop that includes 160 m of ascent per lap. The course features technical underfoot sections, a steep testing climb that tops out at the Symonds Yat viewpoint and trig point, and more than 100 steps on the ascent.
The event uses a mass start and requires runners to sign in at the aid station at the end of each loop for electronic scoring. Participants may not pass the HQ registration without signing in. Pacers are not allowed. Support teams are permitted and may use the HQ car park; the route passes the cafe, toilets, checkpoints and support vehicles.
Entry includes event HQ at Symonds Yat, a marked course, a well stocked aid station, event merchandise, unique finishers and loop medals, free event photos, professional timing, and medical and physio cover. The organiser works in partnership with Forestry England and a percentage of the registration fee supports their work in the forest.
Distances and medal thresholds are based on completed loops. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
