Sylvania Triathlon
The Sylvania Triathlon and Duathlon is one of the oldest multisport events in the country. It is held at the Tam-O-Shanter Sports Complex and Olander Lake at Olander Park in Sylvania, Ohio. The event presents multiple race formats and distances, including triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and relay options.
The race offers both sprint and Olympic distance options and ranks age group athletes nationally across all distances. The event is USAT sanctioned. Music, more than 300 volunteers, and cheering spectators are part of the event environment. Relay team registration is recommended for participants who prefer to divide the three disciplines among teammates.
Gatorade is listed as an official sponsor for RunToledo triathlons. A local Wingate by Wyndham property is listed as the preferred hotel for the event. Packet pickup takes place at Olander Beach the day before the race, with additional morning packet pickup on race day near transition.
