Sykesville Shiver Shuffle 2026
The Sykesville Shiver Shuffle is the 14th annual 5K event held in Sykesville, MD, with the course routed through Downtown Sykesville and the event hub at St Pauls UMC. Registered participants receive a finisher medal and a $5 coupon redeemable at participating stores, pubs, or restaurants on Main Street thanks to a partnership with the Merchants on Main Street.
The event includes cash awards for the top three overall male and female finishers. Raffle prizes are drawn at random and may be claimed at the end of the run. A portion of race proceeds supports St Pauls UMC Food Pantry through a partnership with local organizations.
Registration is managed in advance: online registration ends February 12 and the last day to register to receive a shirt premium is January 26. All registrations are final; refunds are not available for weather or non-participation. There is no race day registration.
Packet pickup takes place at St Pauls UMC using the red doors off the parking lot behind French Twist on February 14, and there is also packet pickup available on race day. Parking in town lots is limited; additional parking is available at Sykesville Middle School, about 1/2 mile from downtown. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
